A proud double Gator, Dr. Anelisse earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology in 2009 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2013 from the University of Florida. A first-generation Cuban American, her journey into dentistry has always been guided by service — beginning with outreach to underserved and minority populations and pro bono dental work early in her career.
Dr. Anelisse Martinez Marino is a passionate and detail-driven dentist known for her ability to blend function with beauty — creating smiles that are not only healthy, but deeply personal and confidence-boosting.
She is the founder of Marino Family Dental, a practice rooted in community care and legacy, a name that honors the two little hearts who give her life purpose: her children. With this foundation in comprehensive, family-focused dentistry, Dr. Anelisse expanded her vision with the launch of Anelisse Aesthetic Dental Design — a modern, elevated extension of her practice dedicated to cosmetic excellence and individualized smile transformation.
What sets her apart is her dual mission: to support families with accessible, trustworthy care while also delivering high-end aesthetic results through custom porcelain veneers and full smile design. She is known for her artistic eye and her commitment to natural life-like smile design using handcrafted porcelain veneers. Working side-by-side with a master ceramist — a local dental artisan with over 30 years in aesthetic dentistry —together they craft results that mimic the translucency and pearlescent glow of real enamel, never flat or artificial; therefore, the results are elegant, believable, and uniquely yours. Together, they’ve helped patients, including public figures and professionals to ultimately achieve transformative results; which feel authentic and not overdone.
As founder of Anelisse Aesthetic Dental Design, she created a brand within a brand: a space for elevated, modern cosmetic dentistry that complements her family-based practice. It reflects her own evolution as a woman, a mother, a provider, and an artist who is committed to designing confident and radiant smiles.
She was named a 2023 America’s Best Dentist by patient nomination and recognized by Voyage MIA magazine as one of the local most inspiring stories for building a successful woman-owned practice from the ground up. Outside of the operatory, Dr. Anelisse is an active mentor and educator. She provides hands-on training to dental assistant externs from Florida Career College and Broward College, and returns to the UF College of Dentistry as a lecturer thus, inspiring future female dentists on their journey toward leadership and practice ownership.
She is a proud Life Member of the UF Alumni Association, and a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Anelisse Martinez Marino is AAFE certified in both the cosmetic treatment of fine lines, wrinkles with dermal fillers/botox and in addition; utilizes botox for therapeutic treatment of TMJ disorders, migraines, and teeth grinding.
Dr. Anelisse believes dentistry should be artful, intentional, and deeply human. Whether she’s helping a child feel safe in the chair or giving someone back their confidence through a Hollywood Smile Transformation, her approach remains the same:
